Teenage is a very influential age. Anything ranging from a picture in a magazine, television content, social media posts or peers can easily influence them. If your daughter has started taking pictures of herself in a certain way , chances are that she has been influenced by something lately and that has dominated her behavior. The best and the most appropriate behavior for you now will be to make her sit and have a one on one conversation where you explain her that it is not the right thing to do. This can be a dangerous thing as well in case some one tries to misuse , if they get hold of these pictures. Talk to her like a friend and not as a parent and help her see other options that can have her interested and engaged.It is she who needs to realise the long term toxicity of this behaviour.
Counseling is the best way to deal with children of this age. You know after a point telling , ordering doesn't work.
