30 cigarettes per day is a lot for any age group. It is going to be a slow process . You thinking of quitting is a good start. The idea is to reduce the intake gradually to 25,20,15 etc . Cigarette craving generally happen at the same time everyday. Note your time. Try to fill that time but something else like eating a fruit , snack etc or drink coffee. I have been on 20-22 ciggs / day for more than 10 years. Now I am at 5 and I am happy . I do not intend to reduce anymore or quit smoking . I love it . It took me a good 6 months to achieve this. I replaced my cravings with chewing gum and did listen to podcasts on harmful effects of smoking.
Not good. This is too much ! You need to go to proper de addiction center.
Increased in lockdown .otherwise I was at 5 . Now at 15-20.
I followed a course on de addiction. It worked.
I am at 45 ciggs a day. I do not feel lethargic or anything. If your body can handle there is no need to quit.
Cigarettes are injurious to health but are not that much as are pollution and the heavy meds we take. Dont be under pressure of reducing , just change your lifestyle thinking you are taking a break. It will be easy .
