to improve English, try doing small & easy exercises so that you will gain confidence. Try speaking in front of mirror & watch English movies with subtitle for accents & vocabulary
1. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes
Your goal is to deliver a message, not speak perfect English, with the right grammar and vocabulary. Even native English speakers make mistakes!
2. Practise, practise, practise
Practice makes perfect. Constantly look for opportunities to test out your spoken English.
3. Listen
The more you hear, the easier it will be for you to speak better English. You’ll start speaking more fluently and confidently in conversations, learning how to give your opinions in English with new expressions and idioms.
4. Celebrate success
Every time you talk to someone in English is an achievement. Every single interaction you have, no matter how small, will help you improve your skills over time. Be proud of your progress.
5. Imitate away
When most people think about learning English, they think about piles of books, memorizing lists and studying with cards. All of these are helpful in their own way and shouldn’t be ignored. However, many people forget – or shy away from – the active side of language learning – exploring, playing, listening, and repeating.
Studies show that imitation is one of the best ways to improve your language skills. Listening to others and repeating what they say and how they say it – even intonation, emotion and choice of words – is one of the most powerful and fun ways to make progress.
6. Avoid learning word by word
Are you tired of memorizing lists of verbs and feeling like you still can’t speak confidently? It’s time to change your strategy. This time, learn full expressions – this is calledchunk-based learning.
Think of new expressions as a unit that you can’t separate. Listen and repeat. For a moment, allow yourself to forget about grammar or the meaning of each word until the expression starts to feel natural.
Be practical and “copy paste” what you hear without creating unnecessary obstacles. This would mean learning an expression like “I need water” as a whole, rather than translating word by word and learning how to conjugate the verb “to need” before you do it.
7. Use what you’ve learned immediately
8. Don't study grammar too much
Studying grammar will only slow you down and confuse you. You will think about the rules when creating sentences instead of naturally saying a sentence like a native. Remember that only a small fraction of English speakers know more than 20% of all the grammar rules.

I did a crash course on English speaking. I can write but hesitate when I have to speak. It did help me to start the conversation. When flow is built it is easy. YouTube has courses, you can start there but will have to practice alone.
