My extrovert teammate has been stealing my credit since the beginning .

I am working in IT company . I am a quiet and hardworking person. I have been a good performer in my career. 2 years ago we started a new project and a new member joined our team . He is an extrovert and tries every means to impress the boss. He does not do the work but because of his relationship with boss and presentation he always steals my credit. I do the hardwork but he projects in front of others like he has done all the work. It is very frustrating. I can not avoid him as he is manager's favourite and manager puts him everywhere. I am forced to work with him. I have contemplated resigning so many times but I belong to a domain which is not common and is difficult to switch jobs in my area.

My sister used to steal credit from me all that time. She will even pin her failure or fault on me. I was not able to understand this for a long time but slowly I started finding it out . My heart was broken that my real sister is doing this to me. I was devastated. I cried and cried for months secretly. It is 2 years now and I am still upset and I do not feel close to my sister.
